Rapid clinical and radiological diagnosis of conditions such as hydroceles and cysts, together with management of balanitis and functional problems of the foreskin. Day case surgical intervention is the general rule for those requiring surgical treatment.
VASECTOMY AND REVERSALS
Local anaesthetic scalpel less technique offered. Minimally invasive technique with minimal complications. Wide experience of vasectomy reversal with excellent outcomes.
Assessment and treatment of recurrent urinary tract infections and a bacterial cystitis (painful bladder syndrome), together with assessment and treatment of urinary incontinence.
Diagnosis and staging of renal cancer. Wide experience of laparoscopic and open nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy. Audited outcomes available via the British Association of Urological surgeons website. Close working in MDT allows access to cryotherapy in selected cases.
Management of all stages of the disease. Many of my patients with early disease are on active surveillance. Having extensive personal experience of Laparoscopic and open prostatectomy, I recognise the benefits of robotic surgery and can facilitate that intervention as well as access to all modern forms of radiotherapy including brachytherapy. I am happy to provide an objective opinion on more novel therapies many of which have more limited outcome data.
